that’s hard to say. Running instances will definitely get you gear. The Deadmines in Westfall is probably the BEST place for hunter gear your level. You get The Tunic of Westfall from a quest to kill Edwin VanCleef. It just involves a short quest-chain. He also drops The Cape of the Brotherhood pretty often, Cruel Barb less often, but it’s still great if you can get two and dual-wield. If not, Impaling Harpoon drops off of one of the patrols on his boat. Also, if you happen to be a leatherworker, you can make Barbaric Bracers for when you’re level 27, and Toughened leather gloves which will last you a long time. really, leather working is a GREAT skill for hunters under level 40 (and even on into your higher levels if you take up dragonscale). There are SO many different armor sets you can make that focus on agility and stamina. Edit: and stockades has a decent pair of boots as a reward from a quest you pick up in Duskwood, so try that. I personally don’t think that instance is worth it for hunters, though. It’s WAY too easy to aggro everything when you’re trying to get range… Although when I ran it on my Draenei, we rolled on a chest, and a SHAMAN got Lil Timmy’s Peashooter. As fair as it was that he won the roll before we even knew what was in the chest, I was upset. Yes the rake is a pet in the sense that it is a rare spawn. Its skin is not rare, and it doesnt have any special abilities. After its tamed, its the same as any other lion out there, male or female. As far as a level 14 with 7000g, there is hardly any way someone at your level should have that much gold. Do yourself a favor, do not attract any attention, do not tell anyone about it. Be careful what you buy… GM’s have a tendancy to frown upon that kind of stuff, and they will track your account on suspision alone… Mess up and your looking for a ban/suspension. Not saying that you didnt get the money legitly, I dont care how you got it, so long as your not stealing peoples accounts with keyloggers. Then i would be highly upset. Either way, just be very cautious, and dont tell anyone about your gold.
