Hide the Workers before building

If you’ve reached the Gold Mine at which you want to build your next Expansion Town but are not quite ready to build yet (normally due to lack of resources), hide the workers behind the Gold Mine. When enemy players check mines, they often don’t check all the way around them and will often not see units hiding behind mines. Defend your new TownTypically most people build additional Expansions but do not defend them. This makes them easy marks for the enemy. While you can trust in Town Portal Scrolls to provide a way for you to defend your town it is much better to defend with towers. Good strategy is to either build several towers before building your Town Hall or to build the Town Hall while at the same time building towers with other Peasants or workers. Towers can delay the enemy until you have a chance to save your town. Towers can turn the tide of battle when combined with other troops. Make sure you repair the towers while they are being attacked. Orc and Human players should also research building upgrades to make them stronger. If the enemy attacks your Expansion while it is being constructed cancel the building before the enemy can destroy it.

Lumber and Sharing Resources

Lumber is harvested from the abundant forests that inhabit all but a few regions in the realm. The uses for Lumber are nearly infinite. Once a tree has been felled and returned to the community, it is processed and made ready for use as Lumber. Craftsmen then use this material to build many different structures as well as certain weapons and machines of war. Lumber may also be used in the research and construction of strange new devices or by those adept in the arcane arts to aid them in their magical studies. Players in Multiplayer games can share resources with other players in the game via the Allies menu. Simply click on the resources next to the player’s name to transfer resources to that player. A trading fee is charged with each transfer depending on the Upkeep of the player receiving the resources. When an allied player leaves the game an indicator will pop up and will now appear in the top right of the screen indicating how much resources that player has. Make sure you give your allies all of your resources before leaving the game. You can transfer resources to dropped players’ towns but you cannot make those dropped players towns transfer resources back to you.

others due to their

changes in the tree seem to be attached to talents which will skew Meta / Ruin’s DPS very far one way or another. There are going to be changes, to be sure, but I the spec will remain roughly the same I think. Demonology / Destruction HybridFel / Emberstorm was the spec I tested out, though, it’s not the only Hybrid spec. I simply chose not to write a column on the others due to their relative similarity to one another. The playstyles are slightly different, but 10 or 11 points of difference can only account for so much. Perhaps in my post 3.1 writeup, I’ll do multiple hybrid specs in a single post.Fel / Emberstorm is a fire-heavy spec, which relies on hard hitting Incinerates, Molten Core procs, and the mighty felguard for its damage. It’s also probably the absolute best spec out of all the ones I tested for AoE damage using Rain of Fire, which puts it head and shoulders above other specs on trash pulls, or during fights with a lot of trash mobs in them, such as Gothik. My primary concern for Fel / Emberstorm, and other specs like it, is the future. With 3.1 around the corner, and Molten Core being changed from an early destruction talent, into an deep-demonology talent, Fe

crawling throughout the heavens moving

Let it be known across all the lands, from the islands of the Maelstrom to the floating prisons of Outland, the realm are being put into stasis at sunup on most eastern shores of the most glorious Eastern Kingdoms. All shall be silent, and all shall obey!”The only reaction from the citizens of the northern land was a slight smirk by a trio of adventurers, for no one else cared as they toiled against the rising tide. This trio though, they smirked knowing that their plan was beginning to take shape, and that even the Lich King couldn’t resist the will of the mighty ghosts crawling throughout the heavens moving to and fro the very celestial bodies he wished to control.A crab skittered across some dry ground in front of the weary adventurers. Marcella looked at Osull and remarked, “This is the start, isn’t it?”Osull nodded and replied, “So it begins…” A broader smile now crossed Osull’s face, and a soft but confident chuckle could be heard coming from his mouth. This indeed was the beginning. For even if the Lich King’s will wasn’t undone, at least the people would be safe.
