Spifally, Shield Blk “mitigation” is too tough to quantify, espially bause itan be staggeringly powerful against trash mobs, devalues as mobs hit harder (bosses espially), and ales with your SBV and Armor (i.e., a high Shield Blk % with a low SBV and low Armor is useless). The numbers bome deptive andonfusing when you add blk% into avoidae. Yeah usually when I do the numbers and look at things I tend to think in terms of fighting bosses, espially in raids. Trash has always been that, trash. Unimportant. Although sie running Hero Strat aouple times in the past week, I have been rethinking thatonsidering the trash in that hero seems to be mh more diffult than the tual bosses, I’m beginning to rethink that philosophy and might have to start looking at those trash eounters more.
Blk % IMHO is treated like extra mitigation. I agree. But itan be serious mitigation, even on bosses. If you want toompare avoidae to mitigation, weould use this model. The more Mitigation you have, the more efftive Avoidae bomes. The more Avoidae you have the more efftive your Mitigation bomes. Mitigation is the Turtle in the re, Avoidae is the Hare. Mitigation is slow and steady, (better for newontent) Avoidae is spiky and irregular (Good on oldontent). I still prefer mitigation over avoidae, you do not gain rage from dodging. My job as a tank is to take ioming damage rede it and funnel it bk at my target.
